Display Who Is OnLine
From PhpCOIN Documentation
phpCOIN v1.2.2 and higher has a built-in feature that allows for the display of who is online. This function is not enabled by default, so you have to manually set it up. Please note that enabling this feature is not required for the proper operation of phpCOIN.
From the administration menu select Menu Blocks.
Create a new menu block by clicking the [Add Block] button. This will create a new block similar to the ones you already have like "Main Menu" and "Client Tools".
In the resulting screen under "position:" select an unused number - 06, 07, or 08 might still be available depending on your install. In the "Title:" write: Who's Online - this is what the new menu block will display. In the Admin Block and User Block leave as NO if you want this to be public. You can restrict access to this block and/or its content but more on that later. Click [Save] to finish creating the new Menu Block.
Now you need to add a php function as a menu block item.
In the list of Menu Blocks, select the Who's Online block, then click [Add Menu Item]. The Block ID is the Menu Block that we want this item associated with. Item ID is the sort order of this item within that block. Text is the name of the php function that we wish to call, minus the leading do part. In this case the function is do_whois_online, so we enter _whois_online. Note the leading underscore. For the URL, enter n/a Type is function and status should be ON. In the Admin Block and User Block leave as NO if you want this to be public. You can restrict access to this block and/or its content but more on that later. Click the [Add] button.
Restricting Access: If you want only admins and users to see it, then select YES for User. If you want only admins to see it, then select YES for the Admin item.
